What should I be?AI will answer

One question that shapes the next forty years. In eight minutes the flagship model from Anthropic reads your profile through the Verbatoria method and compares it with 100 000 real measurements from 22 countries.

Why it is so hard to answer

The problem is not that you do not know yourself. It is three things that keep you from connecting who you are to the real job market.

Thousands of professions, ten you have heard of

Doctor, lawyer, developer, designer. Between them sit almost two thousand directions nobody ever told you about.

The advice around you contradicts itself

Parents see one thing, school another, friends a third. Everyone is right in their own way, and that does not make it easier.

You make the decision once

The consequences stretch over decades. The cost of a mistake is years of study and lost interest.

How this works

Model × method × 100 000 families

The strongest language model in the world does not know on its own what to ask a teenager. Ten years of measurements just sit in an archive on their own. The value appears only in the product of the three — and nobody else has that product.

Multiplier 1 · The machine

Claude Opus 5

  • 1M tokens of context
  • ×3 over the next model on ARC-AGI 3
  • 24.07.26 Anthropic flagship

Holds all 1 962 professions in memory at once and reasons about your profile instead of looking it up in a table.

Multiplier 2 · The method

Verbatoria

  • 10 measured metrics
  • No. 2671869 RU patent
  • since 2016 in practice

Tells the model what exactly to measure: five applied facets, two emotional ones, three personal qualities. Without that it is guessing what to ask.

Multiplier 3 · The data

100 000 families

  • 22 countries
  • 5 age groups
  • 10 years of observations

Your answers are compared with real measured people, not with theory from a textbook. That is what calibration means.

Your report

Twelve directions, selected from 1 962 in three passes.

1 962 professions at the input

O*NET from the US Department of Labor, the Atlas of Emerging Professions, job openings on the Russian market.

61–94 passed the profile filter

Your three strongest facets against the cognitive requirements of every profession — 277 parameters for each one.

12 in your report

After checking the demand forecast through 2032, the career ceiling and the institutions in your city.

Take away the machine A hundred thousand profiles stay an archive nobody can read in eight minutes.
Take away the method The model does not know which ten metrics drive a career choice, so it asks at random.
Take away the data The model reasons elegantly, but there is nobody to compare you with — you get general phrases.

Opus 5 has extended reasoning on by default: the model does not hand you the first answer that comes to mind, it checks itself. That is why the report has a section with the professions it rejected — each one with a stated reason.

What kind of questions are these

There are no right answers — this is not an exam and not a knowledge check. Ten questions about everyday situations. The algorithm builds a profile from your answers, and that profile becomes the input for the matching.

Sample question · 3 of 12

And what comes hardest?

Explaining in words, arguing, writing Picturing how a thing works inside Working with your hands, sport, dance Hearing a wrong note, catching a rhythm

We ask about weak sides as well as strong ones — that is why the profile comes out three-dimensional instead of a list of compliments. Every metric is confirmed by several questions from different angles, so one random answer cannot skew the whole picture.

The output is a profile of 10 metrics

5 applied facets

verbal · logic · music · spatial · kinesthetic

2 emotional facets

understanding yourself · understanding others

3 personal qualities

self-awareness · risk appetite · stress resilience

+ context

age · gender · city — they change which universities and colleges come up

This is the second multiplier from the formula above: the method tells the algorithm what exactly to measure. The list of metrics has not changed since 2016 — only the accuracy of filling it in.

“I will just ask a chatbot”

You can. The difference is not who is smarter, but what the model checks its answer against.

What it knows about you
Whatever you typed in free form — and how well you managed to describe yourself.
Ten metrics from a patented method: applied facets, emotional ones, personal qualities.
What it compares against
Texts from the internet — articles, forums, “top 10 careers” listicles.
Against 100 000 real profiles from 22 countries, measured since 2016.
How it picks professions
It names the ones mentioned most often next to a description like yours.
Checks all 1 962 against 277 parameters and cuts those with falling demand through 2032.
Does it account for your city
Usually not — it names capital-city universities or generic directions.
Yes: institutions and the job market near you go into the calculation.
What you are left with
A chat log. In a month you will not find it, and you cannot audit the logic.
A PDF with sources and a list of rejected professions — you can print it and talk it through.

Even so, the product does not decide for you. The report is a navigation compass, not a prescription. That is exactly why we show the whole logic: so you can argue with it.

What usually holds people back

Six objections that come up for everyone. Here are the straight answers.

How is this different from a random online quiz?

We show the whole algorithm: 1 962 professions at the input, three sequential filters, 12 at the end. And a separate section for the professions the algorithm rejected, with a reason for each. You can check the logic line by line.

Will I just get vague lines about a creative personality?

The report gives 12 specific professions with the names of universities and colleges, a career ladder and a source for each one. Not “the humanities would suit you”, but a specific university, faculty and study format.

What if the profession becomes obsolete?

The algorithm works with a demand horizon of 7 years and beyond and cuts directions with a shrinking market. The data comes from O*NET of the US Department of Labor, the Atlas of Emerging Professions, HH and HSE.

Will any of it be about my city?

The matching accounts for your region: universities, colleges and employers near you, not an abstract Moscow. You name your city in the form and it goes into the calculation.

How does AI know what is right?

Your answers are calibrated against more than 100 000 real profiles collected by Verbatoria since 2016 across 22 countries. The model matches you against people whose profiles are already measured, not against theory.

What if the answer does not fit me?

The report is not a verdict and not a prescription. No recommendation is binding: it is a navigation compass, and the final choice stays with the person. That is why there are two routes — through university and through college.

The answer you will get

One document by email. Four sections, two routes, full transparency of the calculation.

1

Your three strongest facets

What exactly is developed in you and how those strengths work together — in combination, not one by one.

2

Six professions with a university degree

Directions where a diploma raises the career ceiling. With specific universities and steps of growth.

3

Six professions built on a craft

A fast route to standing on your own feet through college. Real demand and decent income.

4

The matching algorithm in full

What went in, which sources were used, who the algorithm rejected and for what reason.

Two routes PDF by email

U · N · I Through higher education

  • — The profession and what people do in it
  • — Which of your facets work here
  • — Specific universities and programmes
  • — The career ladder up to the ceiling

V · E · T Through a specific craft

  • — The profession and the result of the work
  • — The college and the specialty code
  • — Time to the first paycheck
  • — Where to grow next

The profile is built from your answers, calibrated against more than 100 000 real Verbatoria neurometric profiles. You can raise the accuracy with a measurement at a centre.
